okatie and freedom roads
cloud suck and brain hail. weather event

tupelo trees entertain just the
species
i am after. small green lizards

pine tracts like Lassie, dutiful. a
mockingbird
improvises something beautiful.
prickly pear
really sticks it to me, and what
might have
been a reddish egret is out of range
when i yank the sucker out.
a brown and tan female barely hides
in a tulip poplar. i wait for her
man to arrive.
its been a grosbeak kind of week in
the thorn
brush of Georgias color coded keys.
